Every website I go on wants name, address, etc in order to allow you to print grocery coupons. Why is this necessary? What has my name address and birthdate, etc. have to do with coupons?
Chosen Answer:
Its probably the same reason that you are asked for your zip code or phone number when you go to a regular store. Is it relevent, no, not to us, for them, its all about compiling info for targeted marketing. Honestly, I use my junk email address on these and never give my real info because I really don’t feel like being on even more mailing lists.

did you know there is a huge conspiracy that involves the United States government? they take all you data, and they know exactly what you are eating and where you are shopping. They keep track of all your life. Then they sell this information to an alien race from outer space who catalog you in their system and make a drawing to see if they’ll take you with them for a ride in their space ship. Once on board they’ll try to sell you time shares in Mars and Corneria.
i fill them out because they send great coupons to your house and great samples. they need this information to maintain their data on who buys their product. and the age frame of who buys it, where, etc. all of it is DATA. if you notice that a product is discontinued in your area or is hard to find, it’s maybe because in your area it didn’t sell well.
So they can add you to mailing lists. It’s very valuable to them and they can sell your information to other people. Like, this lady uses diapers and wants diaper coupons so lets send her mail and email that has everything to do with children.
Buy a sunday newspaper instead. There are more than enough coupons in there. From the inserts in that Sunday newspaper you will find coupons and know who has what on sale at the grocery store, Target, WalMart, etc.
Good luck!
i would try to stay away from those who collect information from me. however, there are some offers that are very hard to resist. what i do is use a separate email account as well as using a POBOX for the address for these free offers. another thing to watch is where you get these offers. some websites are out there just to gather your information. i’d trust the deals posted on the reputable deal sites, such as the ones listed on the front page of SearchAllDeals.
